May denied parole


A 21-year-old woman serving an eight-year sentence in connection with the 2015 death of her 23-month-old child will serve at least two more years behind bars before she gets another parole hearing.


Three members of the Tennessee Board of Parole have voted that Jessica May, convicted of attempted aggravated child neglect in December 2016 in the case of her toddler son, Colten Alexander May’s, death. May is being held at the Carroll County Jail. The parole hearing was held there on May 23.
