Shoplifting report leads to meth bust

A shoplifting accusation that proved to be false resulted in a local woman being busted for meth recently.


Shauna Renee Taylor, 46, was arrested on June 9 and charged with methamphetamine-manufacture, deliver, sell possession and cited for drug paraphernalia. 


Police responded to a shoplifting call where the subject had already left the premises upon their arrival.  An officer later made contact with the vehicle and subject described, and was given consent to search.  Less than a half ounce of methamphetamine was found, and a glass pipe was found in Taylor's purse. The shoplifting was determined to be unfounded.
