Teen arrested on same-sex rape indictment

The sheriff’s department has arrested a Carthage teen named in a May sealed indictment for rape, burglary, auto burglary, two counts of theft under $1,000, and two counts of vandalism.


According to Sheriff Patrick Ray, Jacob Randall Stacy, 18, was a juvenile at the time of the offenses, but his case was transferred to criminal court after he turned 18. Stacy was previously in the custody of the Department of Children Services.
