Pates Ford Marina played host to the TNT Watersports Wakefest last weekend bringing in locals and professional competitors from across the United States in the annual event which started in 2005 on Old Hickory Lake.
Since relocating to Pates Ford Marina in 2012, the event has experienced tremendous growth and is one of the largest wakeboarding tournaments in the Southeast.
“It was even bigger this year,” said Harvey Letson, TNT Watersports Pro Shop team manager. “It’s really wonderful we had so much participation, especially in the amateur field. Without that, there wouldn’t be a pro event.”
