Tigers honor 1972 DCHS football team

The team was coached by Wayne Cantrell, John Ray Eaton, and Judge Donnie Elledge. This team was the first with a winning record following consolidation of the Liberty and Smithville High Schools.

The 1972 Tiger football team was honored at Friday night's DeKalb County football game. The team was coached by Wayne Cantrell, John Ray Eaton, and Judge Donnie Elledge.  This team was the first with a winning record following consolidation of the Liberty and Smithville High Schools.  The team members present Friday night were:
 Head coach Wayne Cantrell, assistant coach Judge Donnie Elledge, Jackie Gaither, Ray Miller, Mike Corley, Bill Owen, David Colwell, Ricky Hale, David Davis, Doug Davis, Randy Gothard, Doug Hooper, Randy Prichard, Robert Rowe and Don Page.
