DCHS soccer has rough week

DeKalb’s Sophie Hackett drives towards the goal earlier this season. The Tigerettes had a tough week dropping two games, one to Stone Memorial Tuesday and the other to Livingston on Thursday.

The Tigerettes hit a rough patch on the pitch this week as they faced both Stone Memorial and Livingston Academy.

The Tigerettes were down 5-0 at halftime Tuesday, as Lady Panther Mercy McClung took advantage early with two goals within six minutes. Stone’s Christina Young hit another at the 17-minute mark with an assist by Ali Sieber. Tierra Scoville with some help from Mercy McClung made it 4-0 28 minutes into the contest and Katie Fagan tacked on another before the break.
