Dry Creek Flashes 11_15

The flood in DeKalb County last Tuesday devastated many of the farmers around the creek areas. The water took down many fences, washed away round bales of hay, and moved equipment.

After the rains were over the farmers’ work started with cleanup, fencing and monitoring the hay fields for drift wood and debris that could ruin their equipment during the spring cutting. We are thankful everyone was safe and no lives were lost.
