Gofundme account set up to help local couple

Duane Sherrill photo A Gofundme account has been set up to help a couple who lost it all when their camper burned. Along with many personal belongings, the couple lost all of its money in the blaze. Anyone who wishes to help may contribute to the account.

A couple who lost it all in a recent fire is asking the community’s help in getting back on their feet.
Kimberly and Nathan Hale from Lower Helton Road in Alexandria, were able to flee the fire with their lives but were unable to salvage many of their belongings.

“We lost our fifth wheel camper we’ve been living in since August (when our three bedroom house burned while we were at church,” Mrs. Hale said. “Thursday night, Feb. 22, a fire started close to the electrical panel in the camper. My husband, myself and our dogs got out ...
