Smithville pauses for prayer

Smithville joined with the rest of America Thursday, pausing for prayer at noon, the local assembly held under a shade tree in front of the courthouse.

“May we walk, talk and live under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit,” prayed Issac Gray of Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He asked God’s anointing in helping to change Smithville and DeKalb County for the better. “I pray that we would be a changed people, a changed community.”
