Collision with gate results in airlift

Tibor Koritsanszky, 59, of Murfreesboro suffered head injuries when his 96 Volvo struck a gate at Edgar Evins State Park Saturday evening. According to Dewaine Jennings of the THP, Koritsanszky was traveling north on Edgar Evins State Park Road, leaving Edgar Evins marina after a kayak trip. He failed to properly negotiate a curve, crossed over the centerline and left the roadway, crashing into a steel gate at the marina entrance.
