Mackler to speak at Dem potluck

 

James Mackler, a candidate for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Bob Corker, will speak at a potluck dinner hosted by the DeKalb County Democratic Party on July 27 at 6 p.m. at the high school.

 

Mackler, a Nashville attorney and Iraq War veteran, is the first Democrat to announce a run for the seat. Former Nashville mayor and gubernatorial candidate Karl Dean and Holly McCall, Recruitment Coordinator for Emerge Tennessee will also speak at the event. Music will be provided by Jake Hoot.
