Trespassing bust leads to shoplifting, drug charges

Ricky Lynn Martin, 36, was arrested on June 29 for criminal trespass and shoplifting, and cited for simple possession. 


Smithville police said they responded to Walmart for a possible shoplifter, and upon arrival observed Martin checking out at a register.  After his purchase, the officer made contact with him and reminded him that he had written Martin a citation on June 10 for shoplifting and advised him to not be back on the property.
