Mother charged for DUI with child in car

A mother faces reckless endangerment charges after she was caught drunk driving with her child in the car.

The mother, Kristie Renea Shehane, 45, is charged with third-offense DUI and reckless endangerment.

She was pulled over after a deputy noticed she was weaving as she was driving on Dale Ridge Road. “She left her lane of travel four times,” Sheriff Patrick Ray said of the deputy’s report on what prompted him to execute a traffic stop.
