Tigerettes blast Cannon 12-0

The DCHS Tigerette softball team blistered Cannon County 12-0, while Emme Colwell recorded a no-hitter from the mound last Wednesday.

 

DeKalb scored 12 runs on 12 hits, committing no errors. The Tigerettes put three runs on the board in the first inning, three more in the second, one in the third and five in the fourth before the mercy rule ended the contest.

 

Lexie Bates and Kenzie France hit singles, Myranda Bailiff, Lydia Brown, and Maddison “Mad Dog” Parsley swatted two singles each. Kayley Caplinger, Emme Colwell, and France hit doubles, and Colwell blasted a triple as well.
