Tigers win one, lose one against Macon

The DCHS Tiger baseball team played Macon County twice this week, taking a 4-2 loss in Macon on Monday, and shutting the team from Lafayette out 8-0 in Smithville on Wednesday.

 

In the first game, Macon scored two runs in the second inning and two more in the fourth, while DeKalb answered with one in the third and one in the seventh. The first Tiger run came when Lee Randolph hit a grounder and got to first on an error by the Macon shortstop, sending Logan Cornelius across the plate.
