Tigerettes slay dragons

York Institute never knew what hit them this past week as the Tigerettes put up 32 runs on the visitors in one day while not allowing one Lady Dragon to cross the plate.

In a pair of 16-0 games, the Tigerette softball squad boosted their record to 9-7, blasting the winless York team in the double header. They went into Central Magnet in Murfreesboro Monday night for a double header having a 4-1 district record, winning both, 1-0 and 6-1, to improve to 11-7. Their next district game is at home against Macon County this Thursday at 5 p.m ...
