Volunteers sought to help build hiking trail

You can help build the new half-mile Story Book Trail at Edgar Evins State Park on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. until noon. If you can dig, do basic gardening, or are otherwise outdoors inclined they want you!

You can help build the new half-mile Story Book Trail at Edgar Evins State Park on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. until noon. When completed this trail will encourage young readers and their parents to enjoy a new outdoor experience together. 

Age is not a factor. If you can do yard work and walk on hilly ground you can do this. No experience is necessary. On the job training, tools and lunch (following the work) will be furnished.

All you need to bring are work gloves and to wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting ...
