Our DeKalb Animal Coalition Benefit Place is here to refresh your memory. Proceeds from the sales go to the funding of the new animal shelter. Here are some of the items that we have:Clothes-We have literally a ton of clothes but they are not what you usually see. We have everything from children’s clothes and adult clothing in all sizes including 3X, regular jeans and designer jeans and men’s clothing, too. You know what jeans cost if you go to a store. Ours are just two dollars. There are beautiful gowns that are perfect for parties if you want to sparkle and lovely clothes for church and work. Be forewarned you may have to dig some to find what you want but we can guarantee you’ll find something you’ll love. Many clothes cost just one dollar and are from top brand names. And what well-dressed dog doesn’t need a coat? There are dozens of them here, cheaper than the pet stores.
Unique Items- We have collectibles and we never know what we will get, as donations come in all the time. Last week we received an old fashioned men’s wooden shoe polish box filled full with shoe polishes in all colors and a shoeshine brush. We also received an antique marble top table and vintage glassware.
Holiday Items-There are cute Easter items, Mardi Gras beads, a gorgeous set of white fine china with gold rims, shower curtains, toys, stuffed bears, baby items, printers, books, wicker baskets, some really nice purses, framed pictures, picture frames, baseball cards, irons, pots for plants and the list goes on and on.
At the 110 West Walnut St. location we are overflowing with items and it would be wonderful if you could donate sturdy shelves, clothes racks, metal shoe racks, shoe hangers, or a full length mirror so you can see how you look in our gorgeous clothes.
What We Cannot Take-Obsolete electrical items, broken appliances, mattresses. VHS tapes are not a sought after item.
Pick up service available-We can come to you and pick up your items as long as it will fit in a Subaru wagon. We will pick up the first and third Wednesday of the month. Call Bob at 615-975-6092 or Linda at 615-883-0002.
We are open Fridays from 10:00 to 4:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 2:00 and are located at 110 West Walnut St. Please come in and look around!
