Valentine’s Day is a special time for many. It is a time to show your love and respect for other. Many times gifts of flowers, candy, and cards are presented to love ones. We think one of the most precious gifts is the gift of your time spent with those you love. We hope everyone enjoys a special Valentine’s Day with your dear loved ones.
Lisa Cripps was honored with a birthday celebration party by her children and grandchildren last Friday night at the home of Jordan and Nicole Cripps, Dry Creek. They presented her with a new Cannon T6 camera. Lisa has always loved taking photos, so this camera is the perfect gift for her. Look out family and friends; I am sure there will be more pictures taken in your future by Lisa. On Saturday night Lisa enjoyed an outing with several of her high school friends at the Longhorn Restaurant in Cookeville. Those attending were the following: Judy York of Crossville, Linda Keith of Smithville, Tommye Ann Sliger and LeeAnn Vandergriff of Liberty. Later in the week she continued the birthday celebrations with some of her coworkers at the Blue Water Grille on the Hill in Smithville. In the afternoon on Friday they all enjoyed a piece of birthday cake from her friend Cindy Childers. Thanks to everyone for making Lisa’s birthday such a special event.
We would like to wish Jimmy and Judy Kimbrell a very Happy 50th Anniversary. Jimmy was raised by his family to really enjoy fishing, but he quickly adapted nicely to the farm life. He and Judy enjoy traveling and spending time with their two grandchildren, Levi and Molly. The family celebrated with a wonderful lunch with them last Sunday. We wish for them many more happy, healthy years together.
Bob Earl Fuston and Charles Page visited Louise Frazier last week during one of their 4-wheeler outings in the hollows of Dry Creek. We look forward to them visiting again soon.
Get well wishes go out to our friend and neighbor Nonnie Tramel. She is in the hospital in Cookeville. Nonnie baby sat our grandson’s Matt Cripps and Jared Hendrix when they were just toddlers. She is a dear friend to all. We pray God’s healing on Nonnie.
We send out get well wishes to Cindy Taylor, Nonnie Tramel, Karen Jacobs, Joyce Poss, Randy Hawker, Georgie Hawker, and Henry Walker.
We send sympathy to the family of Wayne Jared in the passing of his brother.
