Mother’s Day has come and gone and I’m hoping all those moms out there are still relishing all the happiness and love you felt that day from those that love you so dearly. As I’ve stated before, you are so lucky, if you still have your mom. For those of us that our moms have gone on to glory in heaven, we know they are being honored in style by Jesus our soon coming King. If you’re anything like me, and if given the opportunity, you would love to give your mom a big hug, a kiss on the cheek, tell her your love for her is now and for all eternity, and thank her for always being the kind of mom everyone should have been blessed with in their life.
Pastor Chris Moore honoring moms on Mother’s Day as well. Positively an uplifting sermon for all of us moms. Moms do give so much nurturing to the family and are so important in the upbringing of their children with the love and guidance that are so needed for them to honor and recognize God as their heavenly Father.
When God is put first in a household, then that house will stand whenever the enemy tries to destroy it and the family in it. He is the only true God there is and He will never forsake you, never. You know your friends and yes, even your family, they will let you down and turn away, but that is something God won’t do. He’s in your life for the duration of time and He will literally stick to you like glue, if you will only let Him by acknowledging Him as your Lord and personal Savior. If you don’t know His Son, Jesus, it’s simple to get to know Jesus. He’s God’s only begotten Son and He can make your life a life you want to live for only Him by just simply asking Him to forgive you of your sins. We all get to a place of desperation in our lives don’t we? We are at the end of our rope and feel so hopeless and let’s face it, we don’t know what to do. Just try Jesus it worked for me, and it will work for you, too.
You will have a different outlook on life after you accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. Remember His love for you and me is unconditional. No better love than the love Jesus gives.
