We enjoyed a fun night out with our granddaughter, Michele Hendrix Kent, last Saturday night in Murfreesboro. Dillard’s store had a lot of beautiful clothes. We bought a few things then headed out to O’Charley’s restaurant for a wonderful meal together. Michele is adventurous to be out with, and accommodating to where others want to go. We had fun making memories together.
Our son in law, Ricky Hendrix, had another stint put in due to a blockage. God has seen him through many of these procedures, and we are so thankful he is doing well.
We send love to Helen Burt as she continues to recover from her broken hip.
It was good to have a visit from our neighbor, Nora Harvey, and Fay Adkins last week.
We send sympathy to Faye Pollard in the death of her son Richard. May God’s love surround her during this time.
Cancer is a horrible disease that brings people to the lowest point of health before healing seems to start. It is currently the second leading cause of death in the United States, and is expected to surpass heart disease in the next few years. We hate for families to go through such pain, but God is right there with them through every treatment. We pray God’s blessing on those suffering today from cancer. May the Lord be gracious and restore health to those in need.
We saw on the news where some flooring people had put in their homes was causing cancer. It is sad that the public can no longer trust in every product or business. Keep a watchful eye and research what goes into your home.
March is here, and we always think of wind, rain, and green. Every year on March 17, the Irish and the Irish at heart across the globe observe St. Patrick’s Day. What began as a religious feast day for the patron saints of Ireland has developed into an international festival with parades, special foods, and a whole lot of green. We hope you remember to wear your green to avoid the watchful eye of a pincher.
Happy birthday to some of our dear friends and family who have March birthdays: Pauline Frazier, Debra Florida, Mary Joines, Nonnie Tramel, Edsel and Edward Frazier, our dear pastor, Donald Owens, and our great-granddaughter little Miss Molly Reynolds.
Praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals. Psalm 150:4-5
We are thankful to musicians who have helped bring joy into the lives of the people listening.
