News from the Mountain
As usual frost and freeze warnings do abound this time of year, as gardeners have to scramble to cover what plants need to be covered.
I’ve always heard to wait at least until the middle of April to plant, as the danger of frost or a freeze should be over. All a person can do is hope and pray a lot that a freeze doesn’t show up at the end of April as I have been told has actually happened.
Have some information to pass along about Decoration Day and cemetery meeting at Wood Cemetery. This will take place the first Sunday in May. Try to be there, if you can. Lynwood Mathis relaying this information to me to pass along to you.
Ron and Angie Mendenhall, Blake and Reese from Kokomo, Indiana stopping by here on Friday. We all had a very good time as it had been a while since I had last seen them.
Trying to catch up on a whole lot of outside work here lately. If you just take your time and try to do the best to make something look really good then the outcome of your hard work will pay off handsomely in no time.
Please keep these people on your prayer list as prayer can work wonders. I can certainly testify to that in my own life. The family of Macon Wade, Ruth Brown, Fay Pitts, Edith Miller, Charlie Mai Daniel, Carlon and Mai Nell Melton, and Gracie Stanton.
