Valentine’s Day will be over with by the time you get this column. Hope it was a wonderful day for you, with flowers, candy, and, of course, a beautiful gift to top it off. You know it just comes around once a year, so I say do make the most of it!
No vote of confidence to be given to that groundhog as to the so-called ending of winter is there? Back in the snow and freezing temperatures we can’t seem to allude. At least the kids are probably jumping up and down for joy when they give out those school closings.
Chloe Evelyn Bogle was doing pretty good when we talked last week. Hunter Underwood stopped by on Tuesday evening.
Church services here lately had to be cancelled, because of the snowy and icy weather conditions. Maybe we can get back on track Sunday. Always, but always, so good to be in the Lord’s house to praise and worship Him isn’t it? We still have that privilege in this country to attend church, so do not take it for granted.
Bobbye Harrison, wife of Norris Harrison, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday evening, February 9, 2016, at NHC Health Care Center. Bobbye was 80 years old and she and Norris had been married 61 years. A wonderful Christian lady that I loved and admired.
Keep these people in prayer: the family of Bobbye Harrison, the family of Luther Lawrence, Ruth Brown, Fay Pitts, Denise Stanton, Edith Miller, and Donna Lawson.
