The pace around town has slowed down some after the holidays. Whew!

Kiana Driver celebrated her ninth birthday on Sunday, January 15, 2017 by attending church service and then coming home to a good lunch, ice cream and cake with her family. Those attending were Derek Driver, Taylan and Robert, Charlotte Barnard (grandmother) and Aunt Shirley Ingram.

Get well wishes to Roberta Robinson, Laird Barnard, Larry Tatum, James Dickerson, Hilda Meyers and Jane Eller and those at NHC and the Webb House.

Robin and Kristy Driver attended the International Home Builders Show in Orlando, Florida, last week. They got to view the latest in home products and got to tour a $6,000,000home which had the latest technology.

Some businesses and the banks and schools were closed last Monday, January 16 to observe Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. My husband got to meet Mr. King one day when he was attending a gospel service at Scavitt College. Mr. King came in and sat down beside him. Hope everyone will get back to our daily routine life. Amen
