Well, the big snow came last week. School was out for a couple of days. Thanks to the county highway drivers for keeping the main highways around the city and county clear.
Remnants of the snow are left in black piles around the city. My grandmother used to say, "If it stays on the ground three days, it's lying around waiting for another one."
February is here with Groundhog Day, Ash Wednesday. Valetine Day and President's Day.
Sympathy to Walteen Neely in the death of her husband, Clarence. They were a dating couple in high school---Romeo and Juliet! He also sang in the Community Chorus during the Jamboree.
