God looked down on my friend and co-teacher, Linda Louise Fuston, took her to be with Him to her heavenly home. We are thankful to have known and loved Linda for many years. Praise God for our heavenly home where there will be no more sickness, pain, or suffering. We thank Him for his love, care, and comfort during these hard days.
Linda had been sick for several years. God was right there with her during all the hard days to help her endure. Her husband Bob Earl Fuston, who is a native of the Dry Creek Valley, took good care of Linda. We thank you, Bob, for being so devoted to your family. May God help you and sustain the Fuston family in the loss of their dear loved one.
Linda did many kind deeds for others while living here on earth. The couple would often come for a visit and bring your writer a special gift. We cherish all of those precious memories. She will be missed.
It was good to see many friends at Linda’s funeral service. A few of those were: Kenneth Tramel of Lebanon, Joe and Maynelle Foutch, many from the Dry Creek Community, Tommy Webb, DeKalb County Historian, and our niece Sharon White, Smithville.
Hartford (Linda’s brother) and June Lewis of Lebanon were at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville to visit with the Fuston family. Our sincere sympathy goes out to them and Linda’s sisters Betty Lattimore, Dorothy West, and Lucille Lewis, as well as, her grandsons.
Let’s all remember to support the Relay for Life on Friday May 6th at Green Brook Park. We know many Relay Teams are working hard to support our efforts in the fight against cancer. Every family has faced with this horrible disease, so
There’s a lot happening at the Dry Creek Baptist Church in May. The following are some important dates to remember: May 8th Mother’s Day, May 21 A trip to Centertown Jumping gym and McDonalds, May 29th Memorial Day Honoring our Military.
