Spring...almost

It was spring on last Tuesday with a high of seventy four and winter on Saturday with big white fluffy snowflakes coming down. The Bradford pears are blooming, so are the tulips trees and the Easter bush as I call it. I saw a picture on Facebook that was shared by Gina Denman of Cheekwood in Nashville with the snow on the tulips.

Don’t forget to wear green attire for St. Patrick Day on Friday, March 17. The wearing of the green was said to make you invisible to leprechauns who want to pinch you. I have never seen a leprechaun but I usually do see the person pinching me. St. Patrick ministered Christianity in Ireland. He was considered to be a patron saint as well as a missionary.

New Home Missionary Baptist Church will be holding a spring revival on March 30-April 1. Bringing the message at 7 p.m. each night will be Bro. Nathan Thomason.
