Time to get ready for New Year
The Amen Corner

Hope everyone survived Christmas and the holidays. I’m glad Christmas comes just once a year. I’m beginning to sound like Scrooge!

Nest year I’m starting in early fall to prepare for Christmas. Mickey and Debbie Driver and two grandchildren, Brandon and Logan came in from Houston, Texas to join the Drivers for their annual celebration.

The Driver clan gathered at Mickey and Debbie’s lake house for the family’s annual breakfast on Christmas Eve. There were 10 there. That afternoon the Driver family met at Greg Driver’s home in the Keltonburg community for dinner with 33 present. They sang and had a lot of fun.

Some of the Drivers attended First Methodist Sunday worship to hear Derek Driver’s children Kiana, Taylan, Robert and Keira sing "Happy Birthday Jesus." I’m sure their great grandfather, BOBO Driver was up in heaven smiling at their singing.

If your family celebrated the holidays give me a call 615-653-1737. Thanks.

Now it’s time to clean up the clutter and get ready for the New Year. Happy New Year!

Amen.
