What a beautiful weekend nice weather and not too hot.
Of course Saturday was shopping day but, I needed to get back in time to watch the Tennessee Volunteers play the Georgia Bulldogs which started at 2:30 p.m. It was a very exciting game. Go from sadness to joy in a mere four seconds. I am glad Tennessee won the game but it was a very, very stressful game.
I had stopped at Griffin’s Fruit Market the other day and looked at all the pumpkins. All the different colors, sizes, and shapes. I think when I was growing up we either had a little orange pumpkin or a dark orange pumpkins where did all these other colors come from? Now I have to have one of the flat white ones and the green gourd. Anyway they are all so pretty.
I saw a demonstration where someone took a mixer and went inside the pumpkin and turned on the mixer to get all the insides out. You still had some to pull out but not a lot. Just a tip.
