I hope everyone had a Happy Father’s Day. We celebrated at home with a dinner for my husband, Douglas and my son-in-law, Ryan Winfree both two great dads.
We are receiving much needed rain all the neighbors gardens are flourishing which is a blessing. The downside is the mowing of the yards and the weeds growing in the garden. I have a friend, Mary Chubenko, whose husband fixed a rain system to water their garden it is really interesting. I think they have three rain barrels and a main spout and another for the garden for the watering system. Something we all should think about.
As I have mention Mary please keep her daughter, Elizabeth Barajas, she is 31 and has two beautiful children, and has cancer. All prayers will be greatly appreciated.
The Jamboree stage is up and ready for the clogging, square-dancing and all the singers. Do plan to attend on July 5-6. There will be lots of music, food, vendors all around the square. Where else can you get all of that in one spot? Plus you always see friends you haven’t seen in a while.
Here at the Review we have the fair applications for all pageants for age’s birth through senior citizen. There is a pageant for almost everyone. Maybe next year if the interest is there we can have a male beauty pageant.
