63 DeKalb County natives named to Tennessee Tech's fall 2023 Dean’s List

Graduating students in Tech’s Whitson-Hester School of Nursing celebrate at the university’s fall 2023 commencement on Dec. 8.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - 63 DeKalb County natives were named to Tennessee Tech University's Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester. The total includes 46 students from Smithville, six students from Liberty, four students from Dowelltown, four students from Sparta, two students from Alexandria and one student from Baxter.

To be included on the Dean’s List, students must attend the university full time and earn a grade-point average of at least 3.1 on the 4.0 scale.

Altogether, Dean's List students at Tech for the fall 2023 semester represent 93 Tennessee counties, 33 U.S. states and 32 other countries.
