Stevie Randal Reeder, 52, of Alexandria was arrested on December 28, 2019 after Alexandria Police responded to the area of Lavern Street to a male trying to fight and yelling at people. An officer made contact with Stevie Reeder who had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person, blood shot eyes, and slurred speech. Reeder attempted to run away from the officer as he was being placed into custody and had to forcibly taken to the ground and continued to attempt to pull away from the officer.   He was placed into custody and transported to the DeKalb County Jail for booking. Reeder was charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest. Bond -$5,000


Luke Michael Mc Dearmon, 19, of Auburntown was arrested on December 27, 2019 after Alexandria Police received a called of a possible drunk driver on Nashville Highway.  An officer spotted the vehicle traveling on Nashville Highway and observed the vehicle traveling at 60 mph in a 45 zone and observed the vehicle cross the center line several times.  The officer stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Luke Mc Dearmon and noticed a strong odor of an intoxicant and marijuana. Mc Dearmon performed unsatisfactory on field sobriety tasks and was placed into custody.  A baggie of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana was found on Mc Dearmon among with a sawed off .410 gauge shotgun in the cab of the vehicle and another 12 gauge shotgun in the bed of the truck.  He was transported to the DeKalb County Jail for booking and charged with DUI, under age consumption, simple possession, possession of a prohibited weapon, open container, speeding, and financial responsibility. Bond - $11,500
