On September 4, 22-year-old Nicholas Allen of Garth Cir, McMinnville, was charged with simple possession of schedule VI.

Officers were patrolling the area of Nashville Highway and observed a vehicle speeding through the construction zone. Upon making contact with the driver, a strong odor of marijuana was detected.

After speaking with the occupants in the vehicle, it was discovered that the passenger was in possession of a clear baggie containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.

His court date was set on September 14.

That same day, 59-year-old Rita Vaughn of Callis Road, Lebanon, was charged with simple possession of schedule VI.

Officers made contact with a vehicle speeding on Nashville Highway. As officers approached the car, they detected an odor of marijuana and spoke with Rita Vaughn, who was a passenger in the vehicle. After speaking with her officers discovered a baggie of green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.

On September 9, 39-year-old Terrell Mitchel of River Birch Way, Hermitage, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding on Nashville Highway, and while officers were speaking with the driver, they discovered him to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

His court date was set for September 21.

On September 11, 45-year-old Kevin Smith of Old Givens Hollow, Liberty, was charged with felony evading, reckless endangerment, and driving on suspended license.

Officers were patrolling the area of High Street and observed a white Chrysler fail to stop for a stop sign. As officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspect accelerated and turned down Nashville Highway. Officers were able to make a positive identification on the suspect and charges were taken.

He was found at his residence later, on September 16, and arrested without incident. His court date was September 28.

On September 13, 48-year-old Kevin Bogle of Fuston Hollow Road, Alexandria, was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Wilson County.

Officers on patrol observed Bogle in a vehicle within the city limits of Alexandria. Having prior knowledge of the warrant, officers stopped the vehicle and took Bogle into custody without incident. He was transported to Wilson County for booking.

On September 22, 39-year-old Betty Crutchfield of South Maple Street, Lebanon, was charged with driving on revoked 2nd offense.

Officers observed Crutchfield operating a vehicle on Brush Creek Highway. Officers did stop the vehicle for having prior knowledge of her license status and made contact with her. Officers determined her license to be revoked due to a previous DUI conviction. Her court date was set for October 12. 

On September 23, 25-year-old Kedron Harper of Owendale Drive, Antioch, was charged with simple possession of a schedule VI.

Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding on Nashville Highway. Upon speaking with the driver, the officer noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Harper was found to be in possession of a partial marijuana cigarette and a bag of green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.

His court date is set for October 26.

On September 26, 51-year-old Ursula Ketchum of Lavern Street, Alexandria, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Ketchum began disrupting officers while on a traffic stop on Brush Creek Highway. Officers did ask her to stop and she refused to comply. Her actions did create a hazardous and offensive condition that served no legitimate purpose and created a nuisance.

Her court date is set for October 12 her bond is set at $1500.

Brandy Moore, 33, of Buffalo Valley Road, Silverpoint, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture, delivery, and sale of meth. Officers stopped a vehicle on Nashville Highway for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop officers recovered as small amount of substance believed to be meth.

Her court date is set for October 12.

On September 27, 46-year-old Gary Ashford of Goodner Lane, Alexandria, was charged with possession of a schedule II drug.

Officers stopped a vehicle on Edgewood Street. After making contact with the passenger, identified as Gary Ashford, officers found him to be in possession of a yellow piece of folded paper containing a powdery substance believed to be heroin or fentanyl.

His court date is October 12 and bond was set at 7500.00.

On September 29, 20-year-old Kolby Nichols of Hunters Creek, Lebanon, was charged with simple possession of schedule VI.

An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Nashville Highway. Upon making contact with the driver, officers noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After speaking with Nichols officers found him to be in possession of a bag of green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.

His court date is set for October 12.

Todd Davidson, 51, of Cedar Creek Road, Sparta, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (Mushrooms), possession of schedule IV drugs, and criminal impersonation.

Officers stopped a vehicle on Nashville Highway for a traffic violation. While speaking with Davidson, officers found him to be in possession of pill bottle in his pocket containing a baggie of a white powdery substance believed to be mushrooms and a Xanax pill.

During the interaction the suspect identified himself as 49-year-old Timothy Davidson. Shortly after officers made the identification, Putman County advised they had a parole violation on him.

His court date was set for October 12 and bond was set at 13,000.00.

On October 6, 52-year-old Shawn Richardson of Shady Lane, Alexandria, was charged with driving on revoked 3rd offense.

Officers were on patrol on Edgewood Street when they observed a silver Mustang leave its lane of travel. Officers then stopped the vehicle and made contact with Richardson. A computer check revealed that his license was suspended for DUI. He had also been previously convicted of driving on revoked on 3/3/2017 and 12/4/2020.

His court date was set for October 26 and bond was set at $3000.
