Allison Eastes, the daughter of Teresa and Kenny Eastes of Liberty, TN has been selected as the Caney Fork Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen for the Class of 2022 at DeKalb County High School. 

Allison, who is in the top 33 of this year's graduating class, plans to pursue a degree in Biology  from Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN.  Her dream job is to become a certified laboratory scientist.  She won the DTC Communications FRS Essay contest in 2020 and in 2021.  She was also the Caney Fork Electric Model Student Award Winner in 2021. 

The Good Citizen Award is given to one senior in each graduating class that exhibits qualities of 1) dependability-truthfulness, honesty, punctuality. 2)service-responsibility, helpfulness, cooperation 3)leadership-personality, self-control, initiative and 4) patriotism-unselfish loyalty to American ideals. 

In addition to her school work and extracurricular activities, Allison enjoys helping with the animals  on the family's beef farm. Congratulations Allison!
