September 18, 2022—Smithville, TN Aspen Contracting announces the winners of its 7th annual Covers 4 Others program. This is a program designed to provide free roofs to deserving individuals and families across the country. This year Lou Ann Sanders will receive a free new roof. The new roof will be installed on Saturday September 26, courtesy of Aspen Contracting and sponsors SRS Distribution and Owens Corning.

“Lou Ann is older, disabled and on a fixed income. She can't afford a new roof and is unable to get a loan. The roof has been leaking for over a year now and she is concerned it'll continue to get worse. That’s where her family and friends stepped in and nominated her for our Covers 4 Others Program.

“Aspen is awesome,” Sanders said. “God blessed me with them.” According to Aspen, Sander’s roof had many blown shingles and had a hole in one area. “They sure helped me. I couldn’t afford a new roof.”

“We realize that there are many people out there who have made a positive impact in the community by serving our country, helping others in need, first responders and even those who may have experienced a hardship.  Giving back is a part of our core values at Aspen and this program is a way for us to do that in the communities that we work in,” said Pat Nussbeck, President and CEO of Aspen.

With the roof replacements of this year’s eight winners, that brings the total of 70 families that have had their roof replaced in the last seven years through the annual program!
