Casey Neville Belcher, 30, of Dowelltown was arrested April 14 and charged with mfg/deliver/sale/poss methamphetamine.

Sheriff Patrick Ray said while on patrol in the Short Mountain area, a deputy observed Belcher walking with a backpack. Having prior knowledge of him having active warrants for failure to appear, the deputy detained him. Upon transporting him and arriving at the jail, Belcher told the deputy he had about 10 of meth in the front pocket of his backpack. A black cylinder containing two plastic baggies with a crystal substance was found, along with multiple small baggies. After weighing the drugs, there were approximately 12.1 grams. His bond was set at $10,000, and he is to appear in court July 15, 2021.

Christopher Edward Stone, 41, of Sparta was arrested on April 14, 2021 for a violation of an order of protection.  A deputy went with a social worker with the Department of Children Services in reference to a referral where the father, Stone, was the respondent of an active order of protection filed in Kentucky from December 2020. Stone is not supposed to have contact with his wife or the children.  He admitted they had all been staying there together.

Kimberly Ann Blanchfield, 32, of Dowelltown was arrested April 16 for violation of bond conditions and domestic assault. A deputy responded to a location on Nashville Highway for a domestic. He made contact with a female who said Blanchfield has assaulted her. The deputy did see scratches on her arms. The female said Blanchfield had her pinned in the kitchen making her unable to call 911.  Upon further investigation, Blanchfield is not supposed to be around the residence. However, she was there in a bedroom on the bed drinking Vodka.

25 Brandon Michael Shadden of Smithville was arrested on April 17 and charged with public intoxication. A deputy was dispatched to Fish Lipz Grill for an intoxicated male causing problems in the restaurant with an employee and security guard.
