Body Boutique by Bee getting People in Shape

There’s a new place in town where you can go work out and get in shape. The venue also offers a variety of workout gear and equipment. Body Boutique by Bee is helping local residents work out and have fun doing it.

Owner Bee Tubbs-Trigueros grew up in Smithville and graduated from DeKalb County High School in 1985. The daughter of Billy Jackson and Brenda Tubbs, Bee works at Star Manufacturing during the day, but has been a workout instructor for some time, but now has her own facility for her clients.

“I’ve been doing this for a while,” Bee said. “I was at my uncle’s studio, then I was doing classes at the County Complex. I wanted a stationary place to do this, so I opened this up for my clients.”

Body Boutique by Bee sells workout clothing, gloves, socks and workout equipment, and features different classes for clients. “We do pound classes with the drumsticks where we do a lot of squatting for an hour,” Bee explained. “That’s my biggest class.”

“We also do hula hooping, and strength training,” she said. “I’m a certified personal trainer and a Wellness coach.”

Bee said that she offers classes, which feature six to 12 people per class, as well as one-on-one training. Of course during COVID, she does require masks during classes, and keeps all equipment clean and sanitized.

You can visit Body Boutique by Bee at 1225 South Congress Boulevard, Suite B, in Dogwood Plaza in Smithville, visit them online on Instagram at GetBBodied, or by email at getbbodied@gmail.com.
