On July 18, 2020 at 8:48 pm Central dispatch received a call of a burglary of a home on Short Mountain Highway. Surveillance video captured two suspects who came up to the residence. One of the suspects was carrying a weapon. (See photos). One of the suspects, who was an african american male, went into the residence through a window to a bedroom. The suspect then walks into the hallway of the home and is confronted by the homeowner. The suspect then ran back into the bedroom and exited through the same window.
