





The 2023 Junior Fair Princess of the DeKalb County Fair is Ansley Faith Cantrell was crowned the 2023 Junior Fair Princess Monday night, July 10, 2023.
She was chosen from a field of 14 contestants.
Cantrell is the 16 year-old daughter of Tony and Amee Cantrell of Smithville.
She succeeds the retiring Junior Fair Princess, Allyson Roxanne Fuller, the 17 year-old daughter of Anthony and Amanda Fuller of Smithville.
First runner-up was Ellie Caroline Ray, the 13year-old daughter of Shayne and Kandi Ray of Alexandria.
Karah Jo Ford was named second runner-up. of Smithville. She is the 13 year-old daughter of Hector O’Roscoe and Amanda Ford.
Deanna Marie Agee was named Most Photogenic. She is the 15-year-old daughter of David and Dama Agee of Smithville. Agee was also in the top ten.
The title of Miss Congeniality went to McKenna Reece Miller of Dowelltown, 15 year-old daughter of Charles and Christen Cox and David and Casey Miller. She was also in the top ten.
Other contestants in the top ten were 14 year old Cali Beth Agee, daughter of Kevin and Jennifer Agee of Smithville; 14 year-old Kaylyn Isabelle Prichard, daughter of Andy and Chrissy Prichard of Liberty; 13 year-old Brileigh Nicole Bullard, daughter of Nikki and Jimmy Martin and Riley and Kayla Bullard of Smithville; 15 year-old Averie Nicole McMinn, daughter of Nathan McMinn and Amanda and Jake Franklin of Smithville; and 14 year-old, Kenadee Rose Prichard, daughter of Luke and Jodee Prichard of Alexandria.
Remaining contestants were 13 year-old Savannah Faith Stibil, daughter of John and Glenda Stibil of Smithville; 16 year-old Jasmen Chapman, daughter of Debbie Miller and Jamie Chapman of Smithville; 14 year-old Ellabeth Jane Ferrell, daughter of Steven and Amy Ferrell of Smithville; and 13 year-old Brianna Madison Washer, daughter of Charlise Washer and John and Karey Washer of Smithville.
