There, vehicle enthusiast would meet and show off their cars and trucks. The event had been advertised on social media as a truck meet stating that burnouts were welcome.
Chief Collins said in a statement, “These subjects did engage in conduct that may have placed a multitude of individuals, including minors, in imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury by doing ‘burnouts’ and causing their vehicles to lose traction on the pavement in the DeKalb County Complex parking lot.”
“These subjects also contributed to damage to the newly resurfaced pavement of the DeKalb County Complex parking lot. Estimated repairs to the pavement due to the burnouts is $3,500,” stated Chief Collins.
