The Smithville-DeKalb County Chamber of Commerce was proud to host a ribbon cutting ceremony for one of Smithville’s newest businesses, The Playland Pals. Owned by Josie and Taylor Cook, The Playland Pals is now open at 301 South 3rd Street, Suite A, in Smithville.

The Playland Pals is a premier indoor playroom designed especially for children ages 0–7, offering a safe and engaging environment where little ones can explore, learn, and play. Whether families are looking for an interactive play center, a fun-filled playdate spot, or a unique venue for birthday celebrations, The Playland Pals delivers an exciting and welcoming experience.

With open play sessions, party packages, events and fun new merchandise—like mugs, shirts, and more—coming soon, there’s always something fresh to look forward to. Coffee, tea, and snacks will also be available in the coming weeks, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for parents while the kids play. The Playland Pals is more than just a play space - it’s a place to connect, get the wiggles out, and create lasting memories.

·         Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9 AM – 3 PM

·         Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 8 AM – 7 PM

·         Sunday: By reservation only (must be booked at least 24 hours in advance online or by phone)

·         Private Birthday Parties: Fridays 5 PM – 7 PM, and Saturdays & Sundays at 10 AM, 1 PM, and 4 PM
