The 9th annual Christmas Market Place, sponsored by the Smithville Review, will offer a wide array of Christmas shopping opportunities this Saturday as the event is held at the County Complex.

“We’re going to have a lot of vendors there so they’ll be something for everybody,” said Smithville Review General Manager Angie Meadows of the shopping extravaganza. “This is the same day as the Christmas parade so you can stop in before or after to find some great deals.”

Appearing at the Market Place event this year will be The Painted Farmhouse offering signs, trees, stitching, pillow and Christmas décor; Mary Kay Skincare and Cosmetics; Redeemed BTL offering live-edge wood items such as cutting boards and related crafts; Paparazzi Accessories offering fun, fashionable jewelry for only $5; Perfectly Posh offering soaps, hand creams, face masks bath bombs; Color Street Nails offering nail strips and holiday design nails strips; Jan’s Jewelry offering handmade rings, necklaces and bracelets; Waterloo Girls offering natural cleaning supplies; Scentsy offering warmers, wax bars, cleaning products; Princess House offering healthy cooking products, dinnerware, cooking demonstrations; Susan’s Jewelry Designs offering hand stamped and wire-wrapped jewelry – will stamp on site; Thirty One Gifts offering totes, purses, wallets, blankets, thermals; It’s Always Christmas offering wreaths, ornaments, swags, home décor; Christpoint Church; Avon offering Avon products and fine jewelry; Puff’s Sassy Bows offering hair bows, headbands, necklaces 18” doll clothes, SEC quilts, baby quilts, handmade bags.

The event is free to attend and will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
