Jamie Stanton Bullard, 51, of 435 Holmes Creek Rd was arrested on Feb. 12 for Resisting Arrest, Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Retaliation for Past Action. Police were dispatched to St. Thomas DeKalb ER in reference to a patient throwing things. Upon arrival, Jamie Bullard was standing in the door yelling. Bullard advance toward an officer and as the officer attempted to restrain him, Bullard hit the officer on the side of the face and scratched the officer’s arm during the scuffle. After Bullard was cuffed, he began to threaten the well-being of the officer’s wife. Bond: 8,000.00 GS: 5/6/21
Ariel Cheyanne Ayres, 25, of Bradyville was cited for Theft of Property. Ayres was observed at Wal-Mart by officers take several items without paying for them. Merchandise was recovered and returned to the store. GS: 5/12/21
Christopher Peter Mulford, 34, of 219 Hayes Ct was arrested for DUI. Police were dispatched to S. Mountain St for a vehicle crash. Upon arrival, the officer observed Mulford sitting in the driver’s seat where he appeared to have run off the roadway striking a tree. Mulford had red glossy eyes, and slow speech. It was discovered that Mulford had taken Xanax earlier and was asked and consented to field sobriety tasks to which he performed poorly. GS: 4/29/21
Dustin Matthew Brewer, 32, of 816 Gentry Ave was arrested on Feb. 18 for Domestic Assault and Resist/Stop/Halt/Frisk. Police responded to the Ambulance Service in response to a domestic situation. The officers observed the victim to have a contusion to the head due to being knocked down to the ground and being put into a headlock. Brewer had left the scene upon officer’s arrival but was located a short time later and refused to speak with the officers. When informed that he was being detained for a domestic he pulled away from the officer and acted like he was going to strike him at which time he was informed that if he didn’t comply, he would be tased. Brewer was then taken into custody without incident. Bond: 7,000.00 GS: 4/22/21
Tracy Michelle Vincent, 40, of 848 Foster Rd. was arrested on Feb. 20 for Fugitive from Justice. Police got a report that Vincent had warrants out of Kentucky for Failure to Appear for Child Neglect and that she was at her daughter’s house. Officer were able to take Vincent into custody without incident and she will be extradited to Kentucky. Bond: 50,000.00 GS: 5/13/21
Jeffrey Lee Johnson, 54, of 599 Pack Circle was arrested on Feb. 21 for Public Intoxication and cited for Drug Paraphernalia. Police were dispatched to the area of Juniper St. and W. Broad St. in reference to a man that had been standing outside for over an hour. Officers made contact with Johnson staring at a fence post. Johnson had a smell of marijuana on his person and had three empty beer cans in his possession and talking about things that didn’t make any sense and stumbling around. During search incident to arrest, a glass pipe with green residue and a piece of steel wool that appeared to be used as a filter was found on his person. Due to Johnson’s behavior, he was found to be an endangerment to himself. Bond: 1500.00 GS: 5/13/21
Brandon Lynn Tallent, 37, of 2138 Big Rock Rd. was arrested on Feb. 23 for Evading Arrest and cited for Mailbox Tampering. Police responded to Morgan Dr. for someone looking in a mailbox that didn’t belong to him and without permission. Upon arrival the person in question had already left the scene. Soon after Police spotted the described vehicle that he had left in and initiated a traffic stop. When the vehicle stopped, the suspect, Brandon Tallent opened the rear door and took off running on foot. Tallent refused to stop for officers and a taser was deployed and he was then taken into custody without further incident. Bond: 3000.00 GS: 5/12/21
Kevin Lamont Hitchcock, 62, of Nashville was arrested on Feb. 25 for DUI. An officer was flagged down by a male subject on Earl Ave about a black BMW that was pulling into driveways and sitting for a minute then leaving. The officer made contact with the driver, found to be Hitchcock and noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from his vehicle. The officers also observed him to have red watery eyes and slurred speech. When asked to exit the vehicle, Hitchcock had trouble standing and had to use the vehicle for support to keep from falling. Hitchcock was asked and consented to field sobriety tasks but was stopped due to his safety as he almost fell down several times. Bond: 1500.00 GS: 5/13/21
