A serial trespasser who didn’t seem to know when he was not welcome was busted twice in one day by authorities.

The suspected trespasser, Brian Edward Clark, 39, is charged with public intoxication and aggravated criminal trespassing and is set for arraignment on Nov. 15.

Clark first got into trouble with the law when deputies were called to Short Mountain Highway to investigate a suspicious person trying to get into a residence. Officers spotted Clark when they arrived in the area and spoke with him

“He was confused and very incoherent,” revealed Sheriff Patrick Ray of the deputy’s impression of the suspect, noting he was placed in custody for his own safety and that of the public.

He was then taken to jail and posted bond shortly thereafter. However, he was destined to return to the confines of DeKalb County Jail. Officers were called, later that same day, to a Patterson Road residence where they found the suspect on the front porch.

“The deputy told him the owner did not want him on her property,” the sheriff noted, adding Clark was told to leave.

However, less than a half-hour later the deputy was called again as Clark had returned to the property. Clark was arrested at that point for trespassing.
