Commodity Distribution, August 27
The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) will hold a commodities distribution for DeKalb County on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the DeKalb County UCHRA office. Sign up will be available at the distribution site. This project is funded under a Grant Contract with the State of Tennessee. The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, sex, color, national origin, religion, or disability in admission to, access to, or operations of its programs, services or activities.

Blood Drive, August 27
This will be held at the DeKalb County Health Department on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Blood Mobile will be in the parking lot. Please remember to eat a good meal and drink additional water and Bring a Photo ID. Donors can download”bloodassurancequickscreen” and answer the health questions day of the drive prior to coming to the mobile unit to donate. This will save 10 minutes on the bus. Blood Assurance will be doing Antibodies Screening for COVID to donors that wish to have this done day of the drive during their donation. All donors will be giving a “Team Blood 2020: beach towel. Donors will be entered to win a: Big Green Egg and Eggccessories Grill.”
