UCDD offers relative caregiver, housing assistance. Are you raising a relative child or need housing assistance? American Legion & Ladies Auxiliary meeting, March 18

The American Legion and Ladies’ will start meeting again this month. The March meeting will be on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 6 p.m. at the building at Snow Hill. Discussion and election of officers will be held. A meal with chicken tenders and potato logs will be enjoyed before the meeting.  All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you want to wear a mask, please do. Anyone attending needs to bring a compatible vegetable dish and/or dessert. Judy Redmon 615-597-6240.

Library Meeting, March 23

The DeKalb County Library Board will have their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 4 p.m. at Justin Potter Library. The public is welcome to attend the meeting. They will be required to wear a mask and observe social distancing for the meeting.

Grand Jury, March 29

The next term of the DeKalb County Grand Jury will meet on March 29, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. pursuant to T.C.A. 40-12-105. You may be prosecuted for perjury for any oral or written statement which you make under oath to the grand jury, when you know the statement to be false, and when the statement touches on a matter material to the point in question.

Easter in the park, April 4

Smithville Church of God presents Easter in the park at Green Brook Park on April 4, 2021 registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and worship begins at 11 a.m.  There will be an egg hunt, ax-knife throwing, blow ups, food and much more. This free and seating is provided or bring your own chair.
