Nathan Joseph Wilbert, 40, of Dowelltown arrested on Jan. 6 for assault and criminal exposure. On Jan. 6, Wilbur an inmate at the jail, began acting aggressive and threatening employees of the jail. When the correctional officers enter his cell, he threw a cup of urine and spit onto one of them. Wilbur is positive for a contagious disease.

Two people from Wilson County were arrested by sheriff department deputies after they were found passed out in a vehicle.

Justice Namen Williams, 26, of Watertown was arrested and charged with DUI second offense, along with resist, halt, and frisk. His passenger, 22 year-old Emilie Jo Parrot of Lebanon, was arrested and charged with DUI. She was also written a citation for possession of a schedule V drug. Williams’ bond was set at $6,500, and Parrot’s was set at $1,500.

The charges come when a deputy responded to Tittsworth Road where a car was pulled off the road in someone’s driveway. The driver was found to be Williams, who was passed out behind the wheel with the keys in the ignition. He had a strong odor of alcohol and did poorly on field sobriety task before refusing to complete them. As he was being handcuffed, he kept moving his arms away resisting arrest. The passenger, Parrot, was passed out in the passenger seat and also had a strong odor of alcohol. She became irate toward the officer. While inventorying the vehicle before it was towed, by her seat the deputy found 14 peach colored pills and three half-peach pills, believed to be Diazepam.

Adam Charles Kress, 47, of Knoxville Jan 8 charged violation of the sex offender registry.

Detective spoke with Kress who said he had been living in DeKalb County for three days. That is longer than the allotted days to register in a new county.

Joshuah David Stulak of Smithville, 21, was arrested Jan. 10 and charged with public intoxication and resist/halt/frisk

A deputy responded to a fight in the parking lot of Midnight Express on Saturday night. Stulak was intoxicated and resisted arrest.
