Travis Christopher VanCour, 31, of Watertown was arrested Nov. 10 and charged with driving on revoked license fourth offense. A sheriff’s department deputy was on regular patrol on Puckett Point Road when he witnessed a white female urinating on the side of the road. She then got into the passenger seat of silver Nissan Murano SUV. The vehicle began to pull away. The deputy initiated a traffic stop where VanCour was the driver. When asked for identification, VanCour stated his licensed were revoked.

Charles Canaan O’Neal Dicus of Collinwood, TN, 33, was arrested and charged with theft of property and forgery. On March 29 Dicus allegedly altered a payroll check, adding one hundred dollars, from a business on Highway 70 West.

Natalie Sue Ahmed, 37, of Cookeville was arrested Nov. 16 for criminal simulation. A sheriff’s department detective made contact with Ahmed on Lakeview Drive, where she was found not to have a valid driver’s license. She consented to a search of her person, belongings and vehicle. Found in her purse were 10 counterfeit bills including five $50 dollar bills and five $20 dollar bills. Narcotics and paraphernalia was also found in her purse. She was written citations for drug paraphernalia and simple possession of 4.28 grams of marijuana and Gabapentin. She is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 3.

Dara Jenea England, 50, of Readyville was arrested Nov 18 charged with first offense DUI. A sheriff’s deputy was patrolling the area of Cookeville when he notices a gray Toyota Tacoma crossing the white line on the right then the center yellow line multiple times. The vehicle was going 40 mph in a 55 mph zone. The deputy initiated a stop, where England was the driver. When asked to perform sobriety tasks, England held to her vehicle in order to walk to the officer. She failed a series of tasks. She was also written tickets for possession of simple possession after four whole and three half pills believed to be Clonazepam. She was unable to provide a valid prescription.

Royce Avon Foster, 50, of Smithville was arrested on Nov.21 for fugitive of justice. While performing a check in the National Crime Investigation Check it was confirmed by Oklahoma County, OK that there is an active warrant for larceny of an automobile. He was extradited by Oklahoma.
