Covid Testing times

Starting the week of the December 21st the DeKalb County Health Department will be changing our testing times. We will only be testing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We will be closed the 24th and 25th of December 2020 and January 1, 2021 for the holidays.

Head Start Centers

The L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation Head Start Centers will be closed December 21, 2020 through January 3, 2021. Children and staff will return 4, 2021. The L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation Head Start Central Office will be closed December 23, 24, 25, 2020 and January 1, 2021.

Sobriety Checkpoints

The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint December 31st, 2020 on Route 56 in DeKalb County.

Blood Drive, Jan. 4

DeKalb County Neighbors helping Neighbors Blood Drive will be held January 4, 2021 the Bloodmobile will be parked in front of the Seniors Center. Blood Assurance will be conducting the COVID Antibodies Screening.
