Ready … Set … Go! The race is on as DWS fourth graders try to find Easter eggs. Inside each egg was a written question or math problem, and if the student could answer correctly they would get some candy and set off to find another egg.

Local fourth graders got an early jump on Easter last week as DeKalb County High School seniors returned to their former elementary schools to hold the DCHS 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt.

DCHS seniors traveled to Northside and DeKalb West School, where they hid eggs for the fourth graders to find. Inside each egg was a question or math problem, and if the student could answer correctly they received candy and went out looking for another egg.

DTC Communications, Food Lion, DCHS faculty, staff, and students provided eggs and candy for the event. Judging by the faces of the young students and seniors alike, everyone had a great time.
